How to Grow Your Prices Without Imploding Your Sales (or Your Sanity)

The Bottom Line

Read time: 3.5 minutes.

Hey Reader,

Let’s talk about pricing.

Specifically, how to charge more without feeling like a fraud, fumbling your sales, or curling into the fetal position every time someone asks, “So… how much is it?”

Because here’s the deal:
You don’t start with high-ticket.
You grow into it.

And that growth doesn’t come from pulling a number out of thin air or listening to some online bro who tells you, “Just charge $10K, bro.”

It comes from one thing: conviction.

Step 1: Price Where You Have Unshakable Conviction

If you’re getting on a sales call and quoting a price that makes you sweat like you’re on a first date with IRS agents…
You’ve already lost.

Here’s where you start:
💡 Pick the price where your belief is so strong, so grounded, so unshakably confident that if the person on the other end says no, you laugh (internally, of course… or not).

You think:
"You have no idea what you're missing. This is the deal of the century. Good luck finding anything better."

That’s your baseline.
That’s where you start.

Because when you believe in the value, you’ll sell it effortlessly.
You’ll show up different.
Your body language changes.
Your tonality sharpens.
Your posture straightens.

And people feel it.

Step 2: Stretch Slightly. Then Do It Again.

Once you’ve sold that offer multiple times and you’re racking up wins, testimonials, case studies, and confidence?
⬆️ You bump it up. Just a bit.

You go from $2K to $3K.
From $5K to $7K.
From $10K to $15K.

It feels like a stretch but not a panic attack.

Then you get results at the new price.
You build conviction again.
And the process repeats.

Confidence is a muscle.
You build it with reps, not rah-rah.

Nobody starts out ready to charge $25K, $50K, or $100K.
But the people who charge that now?

They started smaller.
They earned their conviction through evidence.

Just like everything else in life.

Step 3: Business Is No Different From Learning to Ride a Bike

Think about it.

The first time you tried:
🚴 Riding a bike
🎿 Skiing
🧗 Climbing
🚗 Driving

You sucked.
You probably wiped out.
You were unsure.
You hesitated.
You fell.

But what did you do?
You got back on.
You tried again.

And with each rep, you built confidence.
Now you ride with no hands. You ski double black diamonds. You pass trucks on the highway with one hand on the wheel and an iced coffee in the other.

💡 So why do we assume business should be different?

Why do we believe we should start a business and be instantly amazing at it, confident and crushing it out of the gate?

It doesn’t work that way.

Just like anything else, business mastery comes from repetition, feedback, and gradual expansion.

Step 4: Comfort Zone → Growth Zone → Panic Zone

Let’s talk about the zones of growth.

1️⃣ Comfort Zone: Feels safe. You know it well. But stay too long? You plateau.
2️⃣ Growth Zone: Feels stretchy. Exciting but challenging. You expand here.
3️⃣ Panic Zone: Feels like you’re drowning. No growth. Just trauma.

The goal is NOT to go from comfort to panic.
The goal is to live in the growth zone and expand it gradually.

You don’t go from never swimming to diving with great white sharks in Mexico.
(At least not if you plan to enjoy swimming ever again.)

You start with the shallow end.
Then the deep end.
Then the lake.
Then the ocean.

💡 Business is the same.

Start with what feels safe and solid.
Push yourself a little.
Get results.
Grow your capacity.

Then go again.

Step 5: Scaling Pricing Like You Scale Campaigns

Pricing is like ad budgets.

You don’t go from $10/day to $10,000/day overnight.
That’s how you break everything.

You go:
$10 → $20 → $50 → $100 → $500...

Every jump is supported by:
✅ Proof
✅ Results
✅ Confidence
✅ Structure

Do the same with your pricing.

Final Thought: The Price Follows the Proof

If you're wondering what to charge, start here:

👉 Where do you feel absolute conviction?
👉 Where does your price feel like such a no-brainer, you’d buy it yourself in a heartbeat?
👉 Where do your clients feel like they’re robbing you at that rate?

That’s your price today.

Sell that.
Get results.
Build confidence.
Then raise.
Repeat.

This isn’t about “charging more because gurus said so.”

This is about earning the right to charge more by backing it up with real-world wins.

You grow your price the same way you grow your business:
🔥 One aligned, confident, intentional step at a time.

Now go charge what you know you're worth and keep climbing from there.
